I remember being at the Acropolis in the 70’s and the feeling of awe I had, thinking that famous Greeks might have stood where I was standing. It was an awesome experience.

The last time I visited Acropolis I couldn’t help the tears that came into my eyes. It’s really amazing to think that it was built centuries ago by people who had no means as we do today. Then, it’s what you say. All these wise people could have been standing where I stood. Then I thought of how great Greece once was and the state it is in now. Such a shame and disgrace…
